I remember when my menstrual cycle started. I was washing clothes during holidays when I felt something dripping down my thighs, I took a peep and it was HER! My long awaited visitor.😂 Then in boarding school, it was a thing of pride, some sought of respect comes to you when your menstraul cycle begins. "As teenagers we will just keep asking each other , have you seen ? " 😂 I was familiar with alot of things then because our school mothers will always teach us all we need to know. They usually say "its an ushering into womanhood" I had a lot of girl care and didn't have to bother about much. But do you know that 70% of our girls especially in rural areas have little or no information about menstruation. I watched a documentary filmed in Accra where girls use "Cloth" as pad. ( in this century!) Its dysfunctional to Even use "Tissue paper" or "Cotton wool" because it blocks the flow talk more of "c...

Because you are a woman people will force their thinking on you, their boundaries and limitations on you . They will tell you how to behave, who you can meet, the limit of your visions and aspirations, and where you can go. Don't live in the shadows of people's judgment, make you own choice in the light of God's Wisdom. For people's Advice to you are born out of two things, their personal interest and genuine love for you.
