OMAJE'S ANECDOTE: I DID SOMETHING I HAVE NEVER DONE IN MY LIFE AND IT WAS CREEPY!!!

I made a decision few months ago that am going to do somethings that i have always been afraid of doing.

So when i had a reason to vist Okrika island, in portharcourt for a burial, i said to my self "the hour has come" (in chinyere udoma's voice).

A day to the burial i arrived Port Harcourt, when i got home, i had to get my elder brother to describe the routes to okrika for me, both by land and by  water.

Two things where in my mind, i dont want to miss the event for anything in this world, i just could not afford to miss it, and secondly this is the only shot i have to use a boat, because i am a very uneventful person. Events that pleases me rarely comes by.

I slept over it to the D day, which was yesterday.
I fright at the taught of doing something new and risky.

So i cajoured my brother into taking me to the jetty where i can board the boat.
So he dropped me off with mums car.
When we got to the jetty people where coming out from their boats from the right , others were boarding from the right.

Then i picked up a life jacket , i wore it and joined others in the boat, everyone sat four in a seat , i made sure i sat in the middle , incase of "incasity"

At that point there was no going back.
I was scared, i was just looking into peoples heart literally to see if they where thinking like me, but everyone seems to be calm, so me too i stayed calm.

The guy behind started moving the boat.

Phewwwww!!!!

The journey has begun....

 And we sailed...... Sailed....
At a point i wasn't scared anymore, i gazed at awe of God's marvelous works.

A song came to heart, and i hmmmed along..

"i searched All over, couldn't find nobody, i looked high and low couldn't find nobody, Nobody great, Nobody great ,Nobody greater than you....."

I sang on and on....

Till we got to the jetty at okrika.

Here we are! I whispered to myself, and thats how i travelled on water successfully, so my next mission is to travel with train.

I will let you know when i do.

                       XoXo Queen omaje
