DAY FOUR
CHRONICLES OF GRATITUDE #DAY4
Today I thank God for my Paternal family.
I spent early years of my life with them and they were so good to me.
To my Aunt, MRS JOY EJECHI.
I thank you deeply mummy.
The peace maker of the universe.
Your heart is made of undiluted gold.
I can't take you enough for your continuous understanding, Love and care.
She makes it a duty to call me every week.
" Chioma? How you dey na? I just say make I hear from you oh"
I will repay your goodness, I promise.
To my Uncle , MR EJECHI.
Daddy of life.
I thank you so much for the fatherly role you played at the early stage of my life.
Daddy treated me just like his own, Everything his children had, I had and even much more.
He worked with NNPC, so he was on shift that closes by 2pm, so he made it a duty to pick me up from school every day that season.
I usually walk to my Aunties shop after school together with my school mates , Then I go home from there, because its no distance.
So when he stopped that shift.
The next day, I asked my aunty to give me transport, that I will use to come to the shop after school (ha ha ha ha)
She screamed! Hey! daddy don spoil you!
Common! Dey go school"
Ha ha ha ha. (Remembering this, cracked me up so much, I was such a child)
I thank you daddy for everything.
There was a day I was electrocuted , by a metal laundry line, that was hung at our backyard.
I drank peak milk that day ,like never before.
So when he returned from work.
He was told what happened.
When we were trying to figure out why the metal wire had current in it.
He realized it was the new neighbour who tapped current from our pole that caused the current lickage.
You need to see my uncle that day!
"So you want to kill my daughter! You want to kill her!
Trust Isoko man, he ranted that day, till the man regretted tapping that light."
As I reflect on this memory of the many things this family did for me.
I feel so much love in my soul.
My Big brothers,
Bros Onome, Bros Onyeka, Bros Onos.
I can't thank you all enough for the love you showed me.
Your kindness, your protection.
Thank you Bros Onome, for your dedication, I remember how you visited me in Port Harcourt, How you visited me in school as well. Thank you sir.
Thank you Bros Onyeka, you always believed in me right from time. Always supported and encouraged me to go for what sets my heart on fire.
Thank you Bros Onos, you were as supportive as everyone.
My darling ,NG.
My beautiful cousin, she shared everything she had with me, she will always remind me" hope say you know say na only you I get oh" That melts my heart every time I think of it.

How they even called my mum, when she was involved in a car accident. So much love. So much!
