DAY TWO

Image
CHRONICLES OF GRATITUDE #DAY2 Dear Pastor David Ibiyeomie, I want to thank you for answering your call. People wonder what it is I have with this man of God. Here it is . I suffered from Nocturnal enuresis, (bedwetting) for 18 years. This embarrassing sickness defiled every medication you can ever think of. I remember the one day of the 18 years that I was dry, My Aunty jumped up with so much excitement😂 (she said" hey! My pikin no piss today oh😂) My teenage hood was one lonely and desolate one because of this sickness. I couldn't visit extended family, I couldn't travel with others. It became a concern to both my Paternal and Maternal family, oh how dey loved me! There is no where we did not go to seek for cure. Just Name it! From the hottest of prayer houses to the Hottest of Native houses. Nothing I didn't drink or eat, It even got worst😂 I so dreaded the nights, because I knew once I slept , I am bound to wet the bed. ...

DON'T RUSH ME!!!!

Image
DONT RUSH ME!!!!! That's what you should scream at everyone and everything that has made you felt like you were not good enough. Everyone that just want you to become without helping and nurturing you BECOME. Those who make you feel like you're not smart enough, great enough, better enough, or wise enough. They say, Oh God ,they would have choose someone else for such a greater destiny! Instead of you. Oh this call or purpose would have been better off for another. As i grow wiser I have realized a lot of things and I thank GOD is no Man! Let's learn to be patient with people. If you really feel you can't condone them, the best thing to do is excuse them. Dear sister, know and love yourself too much , to compare yourself with anyone , I personally don't do that. One of the Most Admirable media personality in Nigeria, Mrs Betty Irabor , suffered depression because she felt she wasn't good enough. Shamelessly told her story in her book "dust to dew...

PEDOPHILIA: A GLORIFIED EVIL

Image
PEDOPHILIA Sexual perversion in which children are the preferred sexual object;  specifically : a psychological disorder in which an  adult has sexual fantasies about or engages in  sexual acts with a prepubescent child. You're preferring a kid as a sexual object how? What kind of demonic desire is that? Oyibo people even glorified it with a name! "I had a story about a teacher who sexually abused a 2 year 11 months old child in Lagos and the school may win the case, because they have connections." If you dare touch my daughter or son indecently , whether you are her uncle oh, Aunty oh, Family Friends oh. I WILL DEAL WITH YOU. By the time i finish with you , the next time the so called pedophilia demon comes around you, you will beg it to locate the next host! EVIL! Parents Protect your kids, Pay attention to them. Teach them sex ...

I SUPPORT PET FOND 1 GIRL 1 PAD CAMPAIGN

Image
I remember when my menstrual cycle started. I was washing clothes during holidays when I felt something dripping down my thighs, I took a peep and it was HER! My long awaited visitor.😂 Then in boarding school, it was a thing of pride, some sought of respect comes to you when your menstraul cycle begins. "As teenagers we will just keep asking each other , have you seen ? " 😂 I was familiar with alot of things then because our school mothers will always teach us all we need to know. They usually say "its an ushering into womanhood" I had a lot of girl care and didn't have to bother about much. But do you know that 70% of our girls especially in rural areas have little or no information about menstruation. I watched a documentary filmed in Accra where girls use "Cloth" as pad. ( in this century!) Its dysfunctional to Even use "Tissue paper" or "Cotton wool" because it blocks the flow talk more of "c...

LIVE IN THE LIGHT OF GODS WISDOM

Image
Because you are a woman people will force their thinking on you, their boundaries and limitations on you . They will tell you how to behave, who you can meet, the limit of your visions and aspirations, and where you can go. Don't live in the shadows of people's judgment, make you own choice in the light of God's Wisdom. For people's Advice to you are born out of two things, their personal interest and genuine love for you. But most of the times its difficult to know which is WHICH. #FindGod #Knowhim #Foryourself Kodi. Till I think again.

NO MATTER THE SIZE OF YOUR ACCOLADES KEEP YOUR BEST FOOT FORWARD

One of our Awardees from our just concluded 2018 XPERIENCE WOMANITY CONFERENCE | AWARDS did this to her plaque. This picture said a lot to my soul, that I cannot yet translate to words. She said in her IG post that it was a significance of her success as she celebrates her 3rd year Anniversary. I was moved to tears of gratitude. Because really its MY SIGNIFICANCE for success. Because the aim of my NGO is to celebrate the success of other women and help the upcoming succeed. To see that this is happening gives me nothing but joy. I appreciated it specially, because she called this a CROWN on her EFFORT and made it look so as well. While other women will pick up theirs and never say thank you, they won't even come or call😂 "Ne me guy nno" Chai, we have to even do home delivery for some😂 Because I won't eat the plaque nau. But issorait. I just want to say: It doesn't matter the size of the Audience, Accolades, number of Weldon's, disdains or embarrassments , As...

HAPPY NEW MONTH

Welcome to May! Miracles are yours.

DAYS OF SMALL BEGINNING

Image
I am pulling this out to encourage someone today. My life is a testimony of "dreams turning into reality" I discovered my life purpose when I was 15 years old. I knew deep down in my heart that I was called to celebrate and inspire the African woman, teaching them how to live a purpose driven life. (my primary call on earth) The first edition of my conference was held in 2012 in a small church in Borokiri town just at UPE sand filled (I was 17 years old) The church supported me , gave me their equipments and generator. I also wrote to the ministry of women affairs , Rivers state and they sent me a Rep from FIDA who attended. Since I took a bold step in 2012 to birth my life purpose. This purpose has lighten up my path ever since. And the rest is history. Pursue tangible things,  its not like I don't know where they are selling IPhone 8 or Brazilian hair. Its not like I don't know how to take trips, snap plenty selfie and Snapchat videos. But I choose ...

24 LIFE LESSONS IN 24 YEARS

Image
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° Life has taught me many lessons and i as i turn 24 , I will like to share 24 of them. I hope you learn a thing or two. #Blessings 1) GOOD IS NOT ENOUGH BE WISE I used to think if you are good girl everything will just work out for you,  No, You have to be WISE! Wisdom is the principal thing! 2) EMBRACE YOUR STRENGTH AND FORGET YOUR WEAKNESS Focus on your strength and forget about what you are not good at. To many times, i have wished to be this or that(because of people and their opinions ), truth is we cannot have it all or be it all, so you have to choose what comes natural for you. 3)FORGIVE AND FORGIVE I am grateful to my Local church Dominion city independence layout. (A Leadership institute indeed) My charact...

Image
Hello , Thanks to everyone who reached out to me in my moment of introspection, All is well (Over Well) with me, I took a break from social media, into a 150 days journey of self rediscovery, Getting to know one’s self is a beautiful never-ending discovery that will help us advance in every aspect of our life. A pragmatic teacher  (Rev oyiks Alfred ) whom i respect alot wrote a post on her instagram page saying "Success in life demands Moments of seperation" (The past months has just been special) And as i went on this journey, i took out time to better understand myself. And i discovered some interesting things about myself, i will like to share with you guys. I am highly introverted. I know you will doubt (yea i know ,Because am a media personel, so i should pass for an extrovert) but i am, thats why i have missed your weddings, birthday parties, Meetings , Appiontments and events. I do not like crowd and gatherings especially ones with unfamiliar Faces. (I kno...
