CARNIVAL!!! TEMPO HEATS FOR THE 2015 ENUGU CULTURAL AND TOURISM FIESTA.



The Enugu Fiesta, ran by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Enugu State, is one of the highpoint initiatives of the immediate past Governor of Enugu State Barr Sullivan Chime in 2011.

The fiesta which has grown into the tourism attraction, is held Every December,  with tourist's participation being  over 500,000 each year.

In line with the avowed commitment of the present administration of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to continuity and consolidation of the legacies of his predecessor


The Ministry of Culture and Tourism steered by Barr. Chika Smart Ogbe has kick started this years edition in partnership with Accolade Media Company limited as Event Consultant.


Plans have reached advanced stage to make this years edition surpass previous editions.
During the Pre-Event dinner hosted by the Ministry, His Excellency Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi While restating his commitment to the fiesta, called on the organized private sector and Good spirited individuals to support the programme as it touches on the poignant issues of cultural and economic rebirth of the State.
The well attended dinner set the tone for the December edition.


According to the Commissioner, ENUGU Fiesta is planned to masterfully create wider platform for the participation of organized private sector, high flying business executives, local business men and international tourists.


Praise Night
Activities lined for this years edition are, Symposium, Cultural and food fair,Street carnival, Traditional wrestling  contest, Masquerade Fiesta, Nwada Igbo pageant, Fashion party, Road block 6, Praise Night, Children party and a host of other activities have been reloaded due to popular demand.

Apart from those other activities Old school music, variety and reward night have been upgraded to meet international standard.
Publicity for the fiesta has been repacked for a better hype and lots of grade A-rated music superstars will feature in the digital and super packaged ROAD BLOCK 6.
