GOOD WORKS! ANNIE IDIBIA GOES BALD FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS


Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has joined in the campaign to increase breast cancer awareness in the country.

2face Idibia’s wife and mother is the model in a breast cancer inspired shoot that has her looking bald.

The aim of the awareness drive called “FightTheOdds” is to raise awareness about breast cancer and promote self-examination.

“#FightTheOdds is purposed to create more awareness about cancer and the importance of self-examination. Recent studies have shown that 20% of breast cancer is discovered by self-examination rather than mammography and we must realise that cancer is not a respecter of persons. It could happen to anyone, even a celebrity like Annie Idibia. Imagine the lives that will be saved if more women physically checked themselves on a regular basis, imagine if we could stand against breast cancer by fighting the odds via self-examination. Let's save the life of a woman today, let's examine ourselves today! #Powerful #BreastCancerAwareness #CancerSucks #HopeForACure” she wrote.

Last week Annie Idibia shared a promo flyer of Sunmbo Ajaba-Adeoye on her Instagram page. This is really an endearing move which shows that Annie has a heart of gold.
